Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information IMASSX Electric collects and how we use it. Last updated 2026-10-20.

What we collect

When you contact us through the enquiry form, WhatsApp, phone, or email, we receive the details you choose to send: usually your name, phone number, email, postcode, photos of the job and a description of the work.

Enquiry form messages are stored securely with our database provider, Supabase, on servers in London. To stop spam we also keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of the sending internet address, which can't be turned back into the address.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you, quote, book and carry out work, issue reports and certificates, invoice you, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Where you're a landlord or agent, we use tenant contact details only to arrange access.

How long we keep it

Reports and certificates are kept for as long as they may be needed for safety, legal or insurance purposes, typically at least six years. Enquiries that don't become a job are deleted within 24 months.

Who we share it with

Only where needed to do the work, for example building control or a competent person scheme for notifiable work, or where the law requires it. We never sell your data.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us on 07912 987073. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
