Portable appliance testing for Buckingham's shops, pubs and cafés, student and furnished lets, and the village halls and churches around north Buckinghamshire.
We provide PAT testing in Buckingham and the surrounding villages: high-street shops and cafés, pubs, student and furnished lets, and the village halls, churches and sports clubs that rely on volunteers to keep their equipment safe.
Small premises still accumulate a surprising amount of plug-in equipment: coffee machines, display lighting, heaters, chargers and extension leads. We test before opening and fix simple failures like plugs and fuses on the spot.
Student lets change hands every year and the appliances in them work hard. Testing supplied appliances at changeover, alongside the EICR when it's due, keeps your records straightforward.
Community buildings are full of donated and occasionally used equipment: urns, kettles, heaters, PA systems, stage lighting and extension reels. Committees and trustees often need PAT records for their insurers and hirers. We're happy to test small batches and to give advice on simple user checks between tests.
01Message us on WhatsApp or call with the address, the number of bedrooms (or a rough size for a business) and any dates that suit. Photos of the fuse board help.
02You get a price before anything is booked. We agree a time with you or your tenant and explain when the power will be off.
03We inspect the installation, test every circuit we can reach and note anything that doesn't meet BS 7671, with the reason and the code.
04You receive the full report, usually the same or next working day. If anything fails, you get a separate written quote for the repairs.
Send your rough number of items and where you are.
